Welcoming the New Year at Expressions of Sunnyvale

We hope everyone is enjoying a healthy and positive start to the new year. The Action Property Management team truly appreciates the community’s patience, engagement, and care, and we’re happy to continue supporting Expressions of Sunnyvale as we move through the winter season.

Below are a few timely reminders and helpful updates.

2026 Board Election – Important Dates

The 2026 Board of Directors Election is underway, with three (3) Board seats up for election. Please keep an eye on your mail for upcoming election materials and ballots.

Key dates to be aware of:

  • Pre-Ballot Notice Sent: January 12, 2026
  • Ballots Mailed: February 13, 2026
  • Election Date: March 19, 2026 at 7:00 PM

All election materials, ballots, and questions are handled directly by the Association’s Inspector of Elections, Pro Elections.

Rainy-Season Awareness – Roofs & Gutters

During rainstorms, we ask residents to remain attentive to how water is moving off the building—even if you are not experiencing an interior leak.

Please report if you observe:

  • Water sheeting off the roof in an unusual way
  • Runoff hitting building surfaces it normally would not
  • Overflowing or backing-up gutters

These observations can be early indicators of underlying issues, and reporting them promptly allows the Association to investigate and address concerns proactively, before damage occurs.

Maintenance Reminder – Dryer & Laundry Vents

Regular dryer and laundry vent cleaning is an important maintenance item that is often overlooked. Even with frequent lint-screen cleaning, lint accumulates inside the vent line over time. This buildup reduces efficiency, shortens appliance life, and poses a serious fire hazard.

Homeowners interested in coordinating a group service or potential group discount are encouraged to connect through the community’s resident forum.

Stay Connected – Groups.io Resident Forum

Expressions residents have a long-standing Groups.io forum created for friendly conversation, recommendations, and neighbor-to-neighbor support. It’s a great resource for sharing ideas, coordinating group services, and staying socially connected.

How to join:
📧 Send a blank email to expressionsofsunnyvale+subscribe@groups.io
Type “subscribe” in the subject line and/or body.

Please note: This forum is resident-managed. Action Property Management does not participate or monitor content. For HOA-related or time-sensitive matters, please contact Community Care directly.

New-Year Financial Housekeeping Reminder

If your HOA assessment amount changed, please take a moment to confirm your payments reflect the updated amount. Fixed monthly payments sent through personal bank bill-pay do not automatically adjust. Only ACH payments set up through Action and the Association’s bank adjust automatically.

We recommend checking your bank statements and reviewing your account ledger in the web portal. If you’re unsure how your payments are set up, please contact Community Care for assistance. This quick review can help prevent late fees or interest.

Thank you for your continued cooperation, awareness, and patience as we work through seasonal priorities and ongoing requests. We truly appreciate the Expressions of Sunnyvale community and look forward to another productive year together.

Winter in Sunnyvale

Expressions of Sunnyvale

As we wrap up the year and look ahead to a fresh start, your management team at Action Property Management would like to extend warm holiday wishes to everyone at Expressions of Sunnyvale. This season is a wonderful time to pause, reflect, and enjoy the community we share.

Winter in Sunnyvale brings cooler days, peaceful neighborhood walks, and a great opportunity to enjoy local parks, nearby trails, and the many dining and gathering spots in and around the city. Whether you’re spending time with visiting family, enjoying a quiet holiday at home, or setting goals for the year ahead, we hope this season brings comfort and joy.

Looking Ahead to the New Year
As we move into January, we are also excited to encourage community involvement. At the January Open Session Board Meeting, we will be hosting Candidates Night, where residents who are running for the Board of Directors are invited to attend, introduce themselves, and share why they would like to serve the community.

This is a great opportunity for residents to:

  • Meet the board candidates
  • Learn more about their perspectives and goals
  • Engage in the governance and future of Expressions of Sunnyvale

We warmly encourage all candidates and interested residents to attend and participate. Strong communities grow through involvement, connection, and open dialogue.

From all of us at Action Property Management, thank you for being part of Expressions of Sunnyvale. We wish you a joyful holiday season and a happy, healthy, and successful New Year. We look forward to continuing to support the community and working together in 2026. This season is a wonderful time to pause, reflect, and enjoy the community we share.
